Oliver & Yasty Puig

Oliver Puig, owner of On the Go Mobile Auto Repair, was born in Puerto Rico and moved to Central Florida in 1999. Oliver grew up under the hood of a car when a neighbor, Gilberto Figueroa, whom he lovingly called Papa Gil, took him under his wings at the age of 12 and taught him how to be a mechanic.

Shortly after moving to Central Florida he followed his mentor’s footsteps and got a job at Firestone Complete Auto Care, for whom he worked for almost 20 plus years. After many years in the corporate stores and due to the Covid 19 pandemic, Oliver realized that there was a great need for mobile mechanics to offer an honest, safe and affordable alternative to the high labor costs of large auto repair shops.  With the encouragement and motivation of his wife of 24 years, friends and family, Oliver founded On the Go Mobile Auto Repair, LLC in July 2020.  His passion is to serve customers with integrity, excellence and compassion in the same way he was taught by his mentor many years ago.

Oliver is the proud father of 5 adult children Melany, Oliver Jr, Tiffany, Melanie and Alex.  With 2 grandbabies Elenie Millen, and the new addition to the family a beautiful baby boy Champion Jack Thomas.
